"Faculty support at KIAMS helped Ritesh find his feet in a new environment"
- Ritesh Sood, Faculty Support

Ritesh Sood was keen on being a finance professional; in fact, he was prepared to opt for it when he joined Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies (KIAMS). His judgment was based on his understanding of the fields of Sales and Marketing, neither of which seemed up his street. He did not wish to pursue Sales but did not know that Marketing itself was a huge field that offered many opportunities other than Sales. After his time at KIAMS, he is now looking forward to entering Marketing and is working towards the domain.

Ritesh belongs to New Delhi. After doing his Bachelors in Business Administration from IP University, he decided to join KIAMS based on the image and reputation of the college. He has joined the Harihar campus and is extremely happy with the cool, calm and quite ambience of the college. But not everything has been a walk in the park. Ritesh is still working on adapting to a teaching methodology that leverages technology. ‚ÄúThis is the first time I am going through PowerPoint presentations in class. It has been a little difficult for me to adapt but I am trying my level best to understand them,‚ÄĚ he says. He has had a lot of help from his seniors in understanding the processes around the classrooms and exams, and is settling in quickly.

KIAMS also supports its students through a Personality Development Programme apart from the functional courses. It’s a five hour long session that covers several soft skills; however, it can sometimes seem like a heavy dose to the students to go through five hours at a stretch.

Ritesh is all praise for his experience at the college so far and counts the junior-senior interaction as one of the most enjoyable aspects of college. He is satisfied content with his choice of institute and is looking forward to a fulfilling learning experience.
